Normal flight operations at the new airport in Istanbul have started. 90 million passengers per year are expected to experience being under the gigantic 420,000 m2 BEMO standing seam roof.
But our BEMO work is not complete with various buildings of “Cargo city” are being built. Some of these buildings have already been completed, an example being the SFM Hanger for Turkish Airlines DO & CO (Catering) – 20,400 m2 of BEMO standing seam was installed with parts having lengths of up to 142 m per standing seam. Further completions being the GSEM (Ground Services Equipment and Maintenance) and ASG (Airside Security Gates) buildings having more than 25,000 m2 of installed BEMO roof.
