White-golden facade for the new “Emser Thermenhotel” in Germany thanks to an individual facade design with BEMO: A new 4-star thermal spa hotel was built on the banks of the Lahn in the immediate vicinity of the “Emser Therme”. The building has 84 double rooms, seminar rooms, a restaurant and a rooftop bar. In cooperation with the company Wittenauer, which provided the planning for the façade, the hotel was covered with around 1,500 sqm of BEMO-BOND composite façade panels in the colour Pure White. The clean facade image is loosened up by facade projections, which have received a golden BEMO-UNIKO cladding as a contrast.

BEMO-UNIKO Creates Uniqueness Through Individual Facade Design

The design of the “Emser Thermenhotel” comes from 4a Architekten from Stuttgart, who already planned the neighbouring spa in 2012. The elongated structure on the banks of the Lahn was carefully embedded in its surroundings and is intended to follow central design elements of the spa. The plans of the architect’s office were supported by the possibilities for a free and individual facade design with BEMO-UNIKO. Towards the street, projections and recesses in the facade give the new building a loose appearance. The golden BEMO-UNIKO facade panels create an attractive contrast to the white BEMO-BOND composite façade panels without appearing too agitated.

BEMO-UNIKO free-form panels stand for a maximum of special facade arrangements and create modern, high-quality facade designs with durability and efficiency at the same time. Around 1,500 sqm of BEMO-UNIKO aluminum panels were manufactured for the facade of the “Emser Thermenhotel”. These were then coated with BEMO-FLON in the colour gold – a coating that is particularly resistant to UV radiation and soiling of the building.

Unique Profile Geometries for Special Facade Designs

BEMO-UNIKO meander panels, serrated panels or free-form panels have one thing in common despite all their visual differences: they are made of metal. In this way, the advantages of metal facade cladding, such as durability, sustainability, and cost-effectiveness, are optimally combined with almost unlimited freedom of formation and individual façade design. Installation direction, profile geometry and fastening types are selected to suit the respective building project. BEMO-UNIKO panels are also convincing in a perforated version, for example as a shady, functional façade cladding.
