On 23 March 2024, BEMO Systems held its Family Day – a highlight for employees and their families. The event celebrated the expansion of production and office space on the company premises in the Eckartshausen industrial estate near Ilshofen. From fascinating machine demonstrations to informative presentations, visitors were able to gain an insight into our day-to-day work. There was also a wide range of culinary delights on offer and hands-on activities for children to keep both young and old entertained.
“The visitors were very interested in our company, in particular all the 3D applications from planning to CNC machines were impressive for many guests,” reports Hans Wiedemann, CEO of BEMO Systems. The newly acquired production halls served as the perfect backdrop for the family day. Employees and their families were able to experience first-hand how the state-of-the-art production machines are used. They were also able to take a look at the ongoing construction measures for modernisation and optimisation that are currently being implemented.
A broad supporting programme ensured that there was something for everyone. From a bouncy castle for the little ones to skill races and informative presentations, all age groups found suitable entertainment. The aluminium Easter bunnies produced for the garden during the family day were particularly popular. A donation box was set up for a good cause, with the proceeds of €1,200 going to the children at the school in Ilshofen.
The positive feedback from employees shows that the family day was a complete success. “We are delighted that so many family members and friends of our employees took the opportunity to take a look at our company,” says Wiedemann. “With our expansion, we are setting new standards and emphasising our position as an innovation leader in Eckartshausen.”
