Effective May 1, 2025, executives from the management of Vector Foiltec GmbH will take over the assets of Vector Foiltec GmbH into a newly founded company as part of a management buy-out together with a strategic partner, the BEMO Group from the USA. The new group of companies will operate under the name LIGHTSPAN.
With this partnership, the BEMO Group, a specialist in metallic building envelopes with a focus on companies in the USA and Germany, is expanding its portfolio and international presence as a full-service provider of architecturally sophisticated and sustainable building envelopes.
Around 60 jobs will be retained with the agreed solution. „Vector Foiltec has convincing technical competence and a clear market position. We see the takeover and the future close cooperation between Vector Foiltec and BEMO as a strategically sensible investment and look forward with confidence to the joint further development in a challenging environment,” explains Hans Wiedemann, Managing Director of the newly founded company LIGHTSPAN HOLDING.
The location in Bremen will remain.
