In the middle of the beautiful Ore Mountains, the Saxony State Dam Administration got a new home – and that’s something to be proud of! The new administration building in Pockau is not only convincing technically, but above all with its high-quality metal building envelope.
Our task: The planning and delivery of the complete building envelope made of metal. That is, roof, façade, substructure and functional details. Everything is precisely planned, statically calculated and precisely delivered. From A for fall protection to S for snow guard.
High-quality metal roof in Limestone Blue – elegant and functional
The roof was covered with the durable BEMO N 65-400 standing seam profile made of aluminium. A robust, elegant solution that is perfect for flat slopes. The Limestone Blue colour provides a calm, modern look with a metallic shimmer, restrained but stylish.
The roof system is also technically convincing all along the line: it is ideal for flat roof pitches and is optimally prepared for additional installations such as fall protection, snow guard systems, lightning protection or photovoltaic systems. These can be easily clamped open – without penetrating the roof membrane. This keeps the roof permanently tight, safe and can be flexibly expanded. A system that not only protects, but also thinks for itself – sustainable, future-proof and functionally well thought-out.
Metal façade with structure – and a change of colour!
The outer wall also has something to offer: UNIKO meander profiles were combined with elegant standing seam sheets. The result: a modern, structured exterior with depth and character.
The UNIKO profiles in the colour grey-blue metallic stand out discreetly and emphasise the vertical structure of the façade design.The combination of vertical lines and generous panels creates a lively façade appearance – high-quality, functional, architecturally convincing.
Clever substructure: thermal bridges? None
To ensure that the entire building envelope is also up to date in terms of energy efficiency, the façade was mounted on a substructure optimised for thermal bridges. The tried-and-tested, passive house-certified Tekofix-A++ brackets from Bemo were used. These not only ensure a stable attachment, but also ensure that the heat stays in and does not disappear through poorly insulated consoles.

From the first detail sketch, to the structurally compliant planning, to the professional delivery of the complete building envelope – our team supported the Bochmann architectural office comprehensively and efficiently. The result: a coordinated planning process with noticeable synergy effects.
Splashes of colour and finishing touches
Administrative buildings don’t have to look boring. In Pockau, red-framed windows and other colour-coordinated elements show how you can achieve great effect with simple splashes of colour and clever detail solutions.
And because details count, the soffits, the verge cladding and the monopitch roof panels were also made with BEMO-BOND composite panels made of aluminium. For a clean, durable finish in a consistently high-quality finish.
