BEMO Halter Systems & Substructures
Perfect hold for metal roof systems
Metal roofs with standing seam profiles must meet the highest requirements – from a wide range of design options and thermal insulation to sound insulation and easy installation. The BEMO substructures and halter systems for metal roofs offer the ideal solution for this.
BEMO Halter Systems
Load-bearing, sliding, thermal bridge-free.
Halter made of aluminium
The free sliding movement of the standing seam surfaces with temperature-related changes in length is one of the most important properties of a BEMO standing seam roof. The BEMO aluminium halters are specially designed for optimal gliding behaviour thanks to their rounded corners. The BEMO thermal caps TK 5 and TK 15 attached to the foot of the halter ensure thermal decoupling.
-
high load capacity
-
good sliding movement of the standing seam sheets on the halter
-
thermally decoupled by the thermal caps
Halter made of GRP
Our halters made of glass-fibre reinforced plastic are free of highly thermally conductive components and are therefore completely free of thermal bridges. As a result, the insulation thickness is significantly reduced with the same effective U-value. The have successfully passed all tests in terms of frost behaviour and moisture exposure. They are characterized by high rigidity and very good load-bearing capacity.
-
high load capacity
-
very good sliding movement of the standing seam sheets
-
completely free of thermal bridges
-
passive house certified
BEMO HOOK-Halter
The HOOK halter is based on a completely new design principle. It encroaches on the small standing seam flange and secures it sustainably, especially when lifting loads. The plain bearing of the standing seam profiles takes place at the halter base. The BEMO HOOK halter is therefore ideally suited for regions with high wind loads as well as zones with high ambient temperatures and the associated thermal expansion of the standing seam panels. The halter is available with galvanized or stainless-steel base plate.
-
sustainable securing even with lifting loads
-
use in extreme wind zones
-
suitable for high ambient temperatures
BEMO-FLEX substructure
Custom-fit standing seam roofing with easy installation
In the combination of modern “computational design” planning methodology and a measurement of the existing structure, BEMO-FLEX can be used anywhere and at the same time can be used without any problems for all our cladding profiles in the roof and façade – even for standing seam roofs.
The lower U-profiles of the FLEX-SYSTEM are professionally assembled according to static specifications. Beforehand, the mounting position of the U-profiles is recorded in a 3D scan, from which the necessary position and height of each BEMO bracket are derived. Together with the positioning angles, the upper U-rail is then pre-assembled in the company’s own BEMO workshop and screwed to the lower U-rail in a final step.
In addition, very high tolerances can be compensated for or new designs can be created by designing the metal roof substructure accordingly, as well as implementing any roof pitch with BEMO roof systems.
Advantages of BEMO-FLEX:
-
high load-bearing capacity of the system
-
compensating for large design tolerances
-
high accuracy of fit thanks to 3D measurement and planning
-
cost-effective workshop production
-
easy installation
BEMO-DOME substructure
Highly flexible and almost limitless in use
The BEMO-DOME substructure is characterized by its high flexibility, which makes it the right solution for cylindrical or two-axis curved designs. BEMO-DOME is primarily used in the façade area of stadiums, as well as in silo buildings, oval towers (such as digesters) or in the transition area of roofs into facades. Regardless of whether rear-ventilated or non-ventilated wall structures – the BEMO-DOME substructure meets all requirements.
In order to create a perfect surface of the metal profiles, we recommend the use of a 3D scan directly on site when planning the substructure system and the metal roof system. BEMO implementation planning in 3D is also recommended. This gives you a grid plan that shows the optimal mounting points, as well as their distance and positions from the supporting structure.
Advantages of BEMO-DOME:
-
high accuracy of fit thanks to 3D measurement and planning
-
high load-bearing capacity of the system
-
easy assembly on site thanks to BEMO assembly planning
-
optimal substructure solution for rounded roof and façade surfaces
BEMO-ELEVATE Elevation System
For the renovation of flat roofs
Static tests and building physics analyses are the beginning of a sustainable and long-lasting roof renovation with metal profiles. In non-slip areas, BEMO-ELEVATE can be applied directly to the existing roof surface. Soft areas or areas with an unclear load-bearing structure are opened and the ELEVATE profiles are screwed directly to the load-bearing plane.
Through the design of the ELEVATE supporting structure, we give the roof a new, preferably slightly inclined and safely draining shape during roof renovation. The resulting space can be used to improve the building’s insulation.
The result is a new, very low-maintenance, extremely safe and durable roof covering. Frequent repairs and maintenance measures of the roof surface are a thing of the past.
Advantages of BEMO-ELEVATE:
-
very easy system setup
-
good load-bearing capacity
-
durable, functional and virtually maintenance-free building protection
-
safe draining
-
thermally optimising
-
renovation possible during ongoing operations
